Steel-Fab, Inc. is located at the Arlington Airport south of the city of Arlington.  Convenient access to the interstate, marine transportation and a rail spur in the plant, has played a key role in successful completion of many projects.  Through efficient techniques we have successfully competed for manufacturing projects across the nation.

Plant Capacity
Operating out of a 50,000 square foot facility, with door openings of 24 feet wide by 20 feet high, enables us to meet many of our customers requirements.  The covered fabrication area is serviced by four 10-ton overhead crane systems and is adaptable for much heavier lifts.  The 4-acre storage and staging area is accessed by a mobile crane and/or forklifts.

Major Equipment
Shearing and forming capacities up to 14 feet long. Machining equipment includes lathe, mills and large radial arm drill.  Steel-Fab, Inc. is also supported by a number of competent local subcontractors ranging from special plating processes to heat treating.  Please refer to the equipment list for a more detailed listing of equipment and capacities.

Aluminum Fabrication
Steel-Fab, Inc. has a number of welding certifications backed with experienced craftsmen to handle projects dealing with aluminum.  Major products have been completed for marine, aerospace, and energy industries.

Stainless Steel Fabrication
Steel-Fab, Inc. is actively involved in manufacturing stainless steel components for the nuclear, food processing, aerospace, electronic and marine industries.  Sheet and plate thickness range from .0598 inch to 2 inc.  Please refer to the weld qualification list for further information.

Carbon and Alloy Steel Fabrication
Although there are many sources for carbon steel fabrication, Steel-Fab's craftsmen coupled with the added support of a temperature controlled paint shop and complete sandblasting facility can meet all customer requirements.  Weld qualifications include AWS D1.1, ASME section IX and numerous military specifications.

Hydraulic Mechanical and Electrical Assemblies
Steel-Fab, Inc. has produced machinery per customer design since its' inception.  Completed projects include mechanical plywood stackers, hydraulic/mechanical cargo handling systems and pneumatic test branches.
